One of the greatest benefits of becoming a member of the Chamber is that you belong to an organisation which represents the views of its members not only locally, but regionally, nationally and internationally, in order to create the right environment for sustainability and growth.
Our policy agenda is driven by you - our members. Which means that your concerns become our concerns, and we represent these on many key decision-making bodies and within a number of local interest groups.
On a national level we contribute to the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) consultations on national policy papers, and regularly call upon our members to complete the surveys which are compiled and presented to the various Government departments when issues affecting business are the subject of debate.
Chamber members are also invited to contribute to the BCC's Quarterly Economic Survey which tracks the performance of businesses across the UK.
If you have an issue which is affecting your business, or if you would like more information about how our Policy Team can help you, please call the Chamber on 01223 237414.
