Bill is Catering and Conference Manager at St John’s College, Cambridge.

Before moving to Cambridge he worked for P&O including two years in Japan, and worked for ICI before this, looking after senior visitors across the UK.

He has won a Michelin Star and a Catey Award – the oscar of the hospitality industry – and has been in the top three nominated for Manager of the Year twice. Bill is a trained Chef and has also worked at the Four Seasons Hotel in London.

His hobbies are food and wine, travel – especially to Asia – and sport.

Bill is also an active member of the China-British Business Council and represents Cambridge with TUCO (The University Caterers Organisation). He is very into sustainability and won gold at the Cambridge Food businesses sustainable awards in 2018, and in July 2019 he won Outstanding Achievement Award at the Tuco awards in front of 450 at the Gala dinner in York University.
