Chamber Charity of the Year

The Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire & Northamptonshire

Each year the Chamber chooses a nominated charity which becomes the focus of annual fundraising events and promotional opportunities throughout the year. This year's chosen charity is The Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire & Northamptonshire.

The Trust manages 126 nature reserves and has more than 35,000 members working together to protect local wildlife. It is volunteer-led organisation which engages with people and businesses through its conservation, education and community teams.

Its aim is to make Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire better for wildlife and that local people will understand and appreciate that nature matters. The Trust will make this happen by working with others to create Living Landscapes by restoring, recreating and reconnecting places rich in wildlife.

Centenary Charity of the Year
We're determined to use this year of centenary celebrations to shine a light on our charity members and do all we can to encourage members to make connections with, and provide their time and professional expertise to, those who need it.

We hope to inspire each and every Chamber member to get involved, both by undertaking activities ourselves at the Chamber and sharing them with you through connected, and also by publishing a list of charity members that need our help each month.
