Improve Customer Satisfaction at NEW! Steps for Success Safari
The Chamber has launched a new campaign to help local businesses become more successful by incorporating business improvement seminars within its regular safari networking events.

Topics including Improving Profitability, Networking More Effectively and Raising Your Business Profile will take place across the county over the next couple of months, with the campaign kicking off with a networking breakfast at the Holiday Inn Peterborough-West on Wednesday 27 January.

Steps for SuccessAs well as giving delegates the opportunity to raise their company's profile across the wider business community, the event will include a detailed description of five simple steps which all businesses can take to Improve Customer Satisfaction.

John Bridge OBE, Chief Executive of Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce, said:
'Over the past twelve months more and more businesses have realised that excellent customer service will often mean the difference between earning repeat business or facing the peril of a bad reputation and January is traditionally the time of year when businesses reassess their internal processes in a bid to improve the way in which they operate. This is why we have adapted our usual safari format in order to provide businesses with inspiration and advice which we believe will help them to do just that.

'Each event will prompt local businesses to turn their attention to a different area of their business and make subtle but effective changes to the processes that are in place. Improving Customer Satisfaction on Wednesday 27 January will specifically look at how to improve the first impression potential customers receive, through to how to ensure that customers really are happy with the service you provide.'

It is expected that the events will be used as a staff training exercise by many local firms, with delegates being encouraged to return to the workplace and discuss the suggestions given with their colleagues and managers.
