More than a dozen specialist sector groups including International, Construction, Business Women's and Transport sectors support members with similar business needs and address industry-specific concerns. Previous sector events have included an exhibition of learning and skills providers, presentations on importing and exporting to Eastern Europe and India, and tips on how to protect your customer database from intellectual property theft.

Over the coming months each of the Chambers' sectors will be organising a wide range of events ranging from workshops and seminars through to exhibitions and celebration dinners.

Each of the sector committees can now be found discussing ideas for future events, identifying the issues which will be affecting their industry in the new year and deciding how they would like to represent their views, share their expertise or gain benefits for fellow Chamber members. Now we're looking for new members to join the committees which come up with all of the ideas!
