The Business Women's Sector inspires and encourages new and established business women to maximise their business success by providing networking and support opportunities. It will lobby for business women's interests within Cambridgeshire.
The sector was initially established following an extremely positive fact finding event in October 2003, after which a Steering Committee was formed by a group of Women Chamber Members. They were tasked with developing a Sector dedicated to championing the cause of business women across the region.
The Steering Committee meets regularly to discuss forthcoming events and any outstanding issues. We would welcome your suggestions for events and as a committee will endeavour to resolve any issues you may have. Should we need additional advice we will draw upon the expertise within our Business
Women's Sector.
If you are a Member of the Chamber, Membership of this sector is FREE.
The Sector runs a series of events throughout the year. Subjects covered range from fun, social events, such as a fashion evening hosted by John Lewis Peterborough, to the more serious business issues that have been highlighted as topics of interest by event attendees. For example, work-life balance, finance, pensions, confidence and presentation skills to name but a few.
