The Sales and Marketing Sector was born in January 2009.
The main objective of this sector is two-fold; it will provide a network between sales, marketing, PR and design experts but will also allow them to share their expertise and knowledge to others who do not have extensive sales and marketing expertise.
A launch event was held in May 2009 offering tips on being smarter with your customers, elements of which included understanding your market, how to focus on existing clients, converting enquiries, working with the media and focussing your output.
A second event offered an Introduction to Email Marketing in July 2009.
