June 9, 2025

A Cambridge company has achieved a national accolade for its internal communications strategy – demonstrating its continued commitment to engaging with employees across the globe.
Coding and marking leader Domino scooped gold for ‘Best Evaluation Process of Internal Communications’ at the Internal Communications & Engagement Awards (ICE), held in London recently.
The award recognises the successful embedding of evaluation and research into the company’s internal communications strategy, using data and insights to drive engagement and support its wider business objectives.
Sharon Viccars, Internal Communications Manager said: “ I’m very proud to receive this award on behalf of Domino. It’s great to see our work recognised by the IC industry, and even better knowing it’s making a real difference in our business.
“Engaging our employees – across multiple locations – has always been key and this Award shows that our efforts have reaped rewards.”
Domino collaborated with its internal communications agency partner, The Surgery, to conduct a global employee survey requesting feedback on how the strategy could meet their needs, followed up by further in-depth focus groups and interviews.
The Surgery added: “Judges thought the data-led approach to the development of a new internal comms strategy with a strong focus on the company’s intranet was excellent with clear and impactful links between Domino’s corporate objectives and the internal audience’s needs.
“This Award win is particularly impressive given that the initiative is headed up by just one person who succeeded in prioritising, getting buy-in and selecting what would have a tangible impact”.
