Ashtons Legal Road Transport Briefing

Event summary

The full programme of external and internal speakers will be announced shortly, but I can reveal our first speaker will be David Wood, the Enforcement Policy Manager at the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (“DVSA”) . The DVSA are updating their maintenance investigation, and David will be discussing how they conduct them, what they look for and when cases will be referred to the Office of the Traffic Commissioner.

How to book

The programme is subject to change, but we plan to include the following:
– Operator licensing
– New generation tachograph
– Employment law (including driver employee status)
– Contract disputes and debt collection
– Driver shortages
– The law of driverless goods and passenger vehicles.

Attendance also means free admission to the superb exhibition spaces at Duxford.

Who should attend: Directors, Business Owners, Consultants and Transport Managers and those whose role includes employment and regulatory compliance. All representatives from the road transport and logistics industries, whether operating in the
goods or the passenger sector, are welcome.

Places at the event are £69.00 (plus VAT), this includes all refreshments and lunch. Please book via Eventbrite at
