Essential skills for supervisors (England & Wales) – digital event – 6 and 7 May 2021
This digital event will provide you with a comprehensive overview of the essential ‘people’ skills required in supervisory/line management roles.
It will also explore the importance of addressing absence, bullying and harassment and discipline and grievance matters.
The event will be delivered via Zoom, in two sessions, over two consecutive days. The duration of each session will be 3 hours.
The dates are:
Day 1 – 6 May 2021, 10.00am-1.00pm
Day 2 – 7 May 2021, 10.00am-1.00pm
The transition from team member to team leader can be tough. Supervisors are key members of the management team and have the closest contact with the workforce. It is therefore important that they receive appropriate support and training to carry out their role.
Ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge can have a positive effect on the motivation and productivity of those whom they supervise.
Delivered via Zoom this event will help you to understand how your role fits within the business and the importance of communicating with, leading and motivating your team. It will include interactive group discussions, relevant scenarios and case studies.
All delegates will receive an electronic certificate of attendance for their participation in the training.
