Managing menopause wellbeing in the workplace

Find out how menopause could be affecting your business and how you can manage it positively.

After our successful first event in March, we are holding another Managing Menopause Wellbeing in the Workplace on 15 June.

It is free to everyone but tickets are going fast so don’t be slow to book.

Women over 50 are the fastest growing demographic in the workplace. Businesses that support women at menopause can achieve improved performance, better retention of experienced female staff and enhanced reputation as a good employer.

You will hear from three speakers:
• Pat Duckworth, Women’s Health Strategist and award-winning author, will talk about how companies can create supportive menopause policies
• Lesley Fettes, Director at Network Design, will share her first-hand experiences of menopause at work
• Maggie Fordham, Women’s Health and Fitness Specialist, Cambridge Personal Fitness, will speak on nutrition and how that helps with menopausal symptoms.

It is estimated that there are 4.3 million women over 50 in employment in the UK. 75 per cent of women experience menopause symptoms, 25 per cent experience frequent and intense symptoms, 25 per cent will consider leaving their jobs.
