South Cambridgeshire District Council and Businesses Against Abuse (BAA) are offering free training for businesses to support them to tackle violence against women and girls.
This training is open to any business who feels their staff would benefit. Following the training you will be officially accredited by the police.
Sessions are 2.5 hours long and will be held at South Cambs Hall, Cambourne on 25 March. Sessions start at 9:30am or 1pm, with refreshments provided.
The training will help you:
• Ensure your compliance with the Worker Protection (Amendment of Equality Act 2010) Act 2023
• Identify vulnerable situations and respond effectively
• Recognise and challenge predatory behaviour
• Support customers facing abuse
• Gather essential information for emergency services
• Manage delicate situations with forensic awareness.
