Peter Bassill is a respected European cybersecurity leader with over 30 years of experience across security research, incident response, risk management, and security leadership. He has supported organisations ranging from startups to global enterprises in building practical, resilient security programmes.
He serves as Vice-Chair of the CREST Europe Council and is a Europe Council representative on the CREST Incident Response Focus Group, contributing to the development of cyber security and incident response standards across Europe.
Peter is associated with Erizo Cibernetica SL. and UK Cyber Defence Ltd., where he combines deep technical expertise with strategic insight.
His current focus includes SOC365 and advanced offensive security, helping organisations stay ahead of evolving cyber threats with clarity, credibility, and real-world effectiveness.
