Join us for our next Net-Walking event, this time at Nene Park in Peterborough.
After meeting at the Visitor Centre, attendees will get to explore the beautiful area of Ferry Meadows at Nene Park, before ending at their Nene Nursery. Light refreshments will be available whilst continuing those conversations, as well as hearing a short presentation.
Matthew Bradbury, Nene Park Trust CEO, will say a few words, before The Nene Park team will be sharing more about their investment prospectus opportunities.
Nene Nursery
Nene Nursery has been created by Nene Park Trust staff and volunteers as part of their five-year Your Community Greenspace project. The site of the old wood yard on the edge of Ferry Meadows has been transformed into a fully-equipped community nursery, complete with a potting shed, polytunnel, accessible raised beds including fruit and herbs beds, composting area, covered meeting area, plenty of seating and even a composting toilet!
