Saudi Documentation Requirements
Stream I or Stream II – Certificate of Origin and Invoice
1. The Saudi Ministry of Commerce (MoC), in co-operation with the Saudi Arabian Standards Organisation (SASO) implements a program to control the quality of certain regulated products imported into the Kingdom. To ensure compliance with these standards, exporters are advised to obtain a SASO Certificate of Conformity prior to shipment of their goods to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
2. All Legal documents (e.g. Agency Agreement, Power of Attorney, Memorandum and Article of Association, Board of Directors Meeting, Minutes of Meeting) require Foreign and Commonwealth Office apostille. The Foreign and Commonwealth charge is £60.00 per document (VAT element £5.00) on top of the certification and legalisation fees.
All contracts/Agreements must bear the company registration number of all parties and must be accompanied by a copy of the passport of UK signatory and details of the ID number of the Saudi National
13/12/2017 - With immediate effect the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia will no longer accept electronically stamped documents. Therefore all documents must now be manually stamped - (Stream II)
***HEALTH CERTS FOR ONLINE APPLICATIONS CANNOT BE ACCEPTED – AN ORIGINAL SIGNED HEALTH CERT MUST BE SENT TO US AND A NOTE PUT IN THE ONLINE REMARKS BOX TO STATE `MANUAL HEALTH CERT TO FOLLOW`.
