Martin Rayner

Martin formed MER Construction Services Ltd in October 2013 after leaving Kier. Through his extensive knowledge and experience of the construction industry he is able to continually provide clients with a quality and value for money service that makes a meaningful and positive contribution to the outcome of their business and building projects.

Martin’s expertise in Passive Construction derives from using cross laminated timber (CLT) and modern methods of construction whilst working for Kier, he is currently acting as Project Manager for Norwich City Council on the largest Passivhaus project in the UK.

In addition to his consultancy business Martin is currently a Non-Executive Director for Build Insight (Building Control / Approved Inspectors wholly owned by South Norfolk Council) and Chairman of Cambridgeshire Chamber of Commerce Construction Sector committee.

Having actively supported the Chamber for several years whilst with Kier we are pleased that he has been able to offer to continue his support and guidance.
