Anglian Water

Love Every Drop.

Anglian Water is the largest water and water recycling company in England and Wales by geographic area, serving around 7 million customers. We operate critical national infrastructure across the East of England, one of the fastest growing regions in the UK. Every day, we provide more than 1.2 billion litres of clean, safe drinking water and safely return water to the environment after it’s been used. Our Purpose is to bring environmental and social prosperity to the region we serve through our commitment to Love Every Drop.

Our networks are getting the biggest upgrade of our time. With a plan worth over £11 billion, we’re building for better—for you, for the communities we serve, for our environment—keeping taps flowing and toilets flushing now and for generations to come.

Securing a reliable and sustainable supply of water

The work’s already underway and it won’t stop. Building new pipes, replacing old ones to prevent leakage, and securing a more sustainable and reliable supply of water now and for generations to come—because you should always have water you can rely on. As part of this, we’re planning two huge, new reservoirs and exploring innovative ways to source more water. Including new ways to recycle water and turning sea water into the safest and highest-quality drinking water.

Protecting the environment and helping it thrive

We’re upgrading and increasing the capacity of the sewers, for you, your growing community and for nature—keeping toilets flushing, drains flowing and rivers healthier, now and long into the future. And we’re creating hundreds of acres of wetlands and investing in new technology to remove harmful chemicals from soaps and cleaning products—like phosphorous—so it’s safer and cleaner when returned to nature.

Supporting our growing communities

Our region’s the driest in the country and growing fast. With more homes and fewer raindrops, we need to act now to keep taps flowing and toilets flushing. Our biggest upgrade of a generation helps our rapidly growing communities by expanding and upgrading our networks—improving our service to existing customers and serving more homes and businesses—providing thousands of new jobs to get the work done.
