Bookings now open for the annual BCC conference 2016

Thursday 14 January 2016

There is growing excitement about the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) Annual Conference taking place on Thursday 3 March 2016 at the QEII Conference Centre.

The UK is at a critical juncture and decisions taken over the next few years will have seismic consequences on businesses ability to thrive and grow. Our conference theme 'Decision Time: New Politics, New Economy, New Britain?' perfectly illustrates the important decisions that must be taken to ensure our future prosperity.

We will explore the state of our economy, Britain’s ambition for the future, the UK’s relationship with the EU and the country’s infrastructure challenges.

Last year’s Annual Conference took place in the shadow of a General Election that was too close to call. We were joined by the Prime Minister David Cameron, Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg, and Senior Shadow Cabinet members to make their case to the business community. An unexpected result in the election and majority Conservative government doesn’t meant that uncertainty and tough decisions are avoided.

The backdrop for this year’s conference will be increasing global insecurity, an economic slowdown in China, falling commodity prices and uncertainty of Britain’s place in the world. We will have an international line up of speakers to provide us with their perspective, as well as political and business leaders from the UK.

The BCC Annual Conference 2016 will provide an unrivalled line-up of speakers and networking opportunities from across the business community. Don’t miss the opportunity – book your tickets now!
