Message from the Police to businesses in South Cambridgeshire

The South Cambs Business Watch Officer has alerted the Chamber of a continuing threat of crimes to vehicles across South Cambridgeshire.

They have requested that if you see anyone breaking into vehicles or acting suspiciously around vehicles you call 999 for a crime occurring and 101 for non-emergencies.

If an offender is in a vehicle please try and get the index number of the vehicle together with the make model and colour.

Although these crimes are not specifically business crimes, the police think that businesses should know that South Cambs villages are being targeted and ask that you try not to leave anything of value on display in your vehicles, including coats/jackets on back seats. Some of the vehicles targeted were work vans that had power tools inside.
