Peterborough businesses to receive expert HR and legal advice

Businesses in Peterborough will receive expert HR and legal advice on how to manage the disciplinary process at a special event taking place in the city on Thursday.

The interactive seminar, which takes place at the Peterborough Marriott Hotel, will bring together local employers and HR managers to explore some of the best ways to manage staff conduct issues and ultimately avoid costly employment tribunal awards.

Specific case studies on the table will include an employee who’s been using a company mobile phone for making excessive private calls as well as someone who’s been making derogatory comments about their employer on social media.

John Bridge OBE DL, Chief Executive of Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce, said:
