Cambridgeshire Special Constabulary Employer Supported Policing Scheme

Tuesday 30 August 2016

Cambridgeshire Constabulary promotes the Employer Supported Policing Scheme (ESP).

One of the roles of the Head of the Special Constabulary for Cambridgeshire is to increase the number of Special Constables within the county and to enhance and develop their relationships with local business and organisations.

One way of doing this is to promote the Employer Supported Policing scheme within Cambridgeshire.

One of the big four supermarkets have supported the scheme and have had the scheme assessed by an objective third party. The results of the assessment were very positive surrounding staff development, addressing corporate social responsibility, improved community engagement and increased and improved relationships with local police.
