The Courier Company Cambridge, an award-winning, same-day and next day delivery company from Foxton, Cambridge, has been crowned winner of the High Growth Business of the Year in the East of England heats of the Chamber Business Awards 2016.

They will now go forward to represent the East of England in the national finals, which take place in London in November.

John Bridge OBE DL, Chief Executive of Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce, said:
“We are delighted that the Courier Company Cambridge has been recognised in this way and will go forward to represent Cambridgeshire’s high-performing business community at the national final of the Chamber Awards. This award recognises companies that can demonstrate the highest levels of growth with a strong plan for sustainable financial performance, and the Courier Company Cambridge certainly impressed the judges in both respects.”

Francis Martin, President of the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC), added: “Businesses are the driving force of the UK economy. Their creativity, hard work and acumen are what makes us one of the world’s strongest and most resilient economies, and they deserve recognition for the crucial role that they play.”

Now in their 13th year, the awards are a highlight of the business calendar, and they pay tribute to the key role that local businesses play in driving the UK economy.
