Cambridge passengers to have their say on local bus services

Tuesday 22 November 2016

Passenger champion, Bus Users UK, is holding a Your Bus Matters event in the centre of Cambridge on Friday 25 November 2016.

Local MP Daniel Zeichner will be joining representatives from Stagecoach East and Cambridgeshire County Council to hear what passengers have to say about services in their area.

The event comes at a time when councils across the UK are announcing major cuts to services and subsidies, leaving people isolated, without access to work, education and vital services. People in Cambridgeshire, who are facing cuts of their own, are being invited to join the Cambridge Your Bus Matters event to raise their concerns or comment on local services direct with the people responsible for running them.

The event is being held on board a bus outside Boots the Chemist on Sidney Street from 10.00am-3.00pm. Daniel Zeichner MP will be available until 10.45am but anyone not able to attend can raise their issues or comments by email to or by calling 0300 111 0001.
