New Chair and Vice-Chair to lead the Business Women’s Sector

Thursday 21 July 2016

Karen and Rachael take over the reigns to lead the Business Women's Sector.

The Chambers’ Business Women’s Sector was established in 2003 with the aim to inspire and encourage new and established business women to maximise their business success by providing networking and support opportunities.

We sadly said goodbye to Sara Collins of Harnessing Creativity who chaired the group for the past two and a half years and in that time helped develop our Storm in a Teacup sessions and more recently designed a pilot STEM project with St Peters School.

The Group recently elected Karen Beckwith as Chair and Rachael Clarke as Vice-Chair to take the Sector forward, and welcomed new members Carla Brown from Addenbrookes Charitable Trust and Charis Wedgewood from Chef de la Maison.

Karen commented on her new role: “I am really excited to take on this role and look forward to working with the Group to establish an 18 month plan of activities and events to help support our business women fulfil their business and career potential. We would welcome any ideas from members too!”

Keep an eye in Connected or on the website for details, or contact Helen Bosett, Sector Co-ordinator for information direct as they become available.
