This is our way of giving something back, to show our appreciation."

Comments included:

Jonathan Taylor, Senior Site Manager at RSPB Ouse Washes nature reserve: "We're delighted to receive this generous grant from the Mick George Community Fund. This money will help us make some real improvements for people visiting the Ouse Washes, providing them with a warm welcome and encouraging them to take time to enjoy the wonderful wildlife found at this special place."

Geoff Curtis, President Bluntisham Cricket Club: "The club is delighted beyond measure to have received confirmation of funding by Mick George for our new twin lane all weather practice facility. To receive support from a company of the stature of Mick George is a huge accolade for the club and this will now provide the foundation for BCC to become a centre of excellence for cricket in the area.

"The benefit will reach far beyond the club as the new facility will be made available to surrounding communities and schools at all levels.

"We will be able to have the nets operational for 2018 pre-season training and this will enable us to consolidate a growing junior team, both boys and girls, which will secure the future of the club."

Jim Warwick, Vice-Chair of Governors, Chesterton Community College: "We're extremely grateful to the Mick George Community Fund for the grant to replace Chesterton Sports Centre's pool lining.
