Shaun the Sheep Visits Peterborough for a Day of Fun, Photos, and a Bit of Retail Therapy!

Shaun the Sheep brought woolly joy to the city of Peterborough today, delighting fans of all ages with a surprise visit packed with photo ops, fun encounters, and a dash of mischief!

Shaun’s adventure kicked off at Peterborough Cathedral, where he posed for pictures and enjoyed a cheerful meet-and-greet with local MP Andrew Pakes. The historic setting provided a stunning backdrop as Shaun made himself at home among the soaring architecture and smiling visitors.

From there, it was on to ARU Peterborough, where things got a little more high-tech! Shaun had a lively encounter with Angela the Robotic Dog, much to the amusement of students and staff. The pair’s friendly chase drew laughter and applause, proving that even farm animals and futuristic companions can make fast friends.

The visit continued with a health check from the dedicated nursing students at ARU, ensuring that Shaun was in tip-top shape after all the excitement. Thankfully, he passed with flying colours—wool, heart, and hooves all in excellent condition!

No day out would be complete without some shopping, and Shaun didn’t disappoint. He rounded off his Peterborough tour with a visit to Queensgate Shopping Centre, indulging in a little retail therapy and spreading smiles to unsuspecting shoppers who were thrilled to spot the famous sheep exploring the shops.

The city of Peterborough was buzzing with excitement throughout the day, with Shaun’s visit bringing together the community alongside plenty of photo-worthy moments.
