The process must be concluded without delay, with a clear focus on delivering new structures that provide high quality and cost effective services for residents and businesses. During the process, it is highly important that key services that underpin growth such as planning, are not further disrupted or delayed. The new structures should be developed to deliver in conjunction with key bodies namely Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority and Cambridge Growth Company, with clear roles and responsibilities, preventing duplication. This is a unique opportunity to shape public services which are critical to the growth across our region, which is key to powering UK prosperity.
