Darren Roe, Managing Director of Stagecoach East, said: “I am pleased to say that all upcoming industrial action by Unite has been cancelled. I am delighted for our customers, in Cambridge, that we will now be able to return to offer all the essential services that you rely on to get to work, school and college, attend medical appointments, and stay connected with family and friends.
“Cambridge is an exciting and dynamic city, which needs a sustainable bus network, where we can invest for the future. Our valued customers rely on us to provide an outstanding service, and nobody knows our streets and customers like our team. We will now get back to doing what we do best – working for the benefit of others by connecting people through bus services, to their jobs, their communities, loved ones and friends.
“I would like to put on record my thanks to everyone who has worked so hard to maintain services during this difficult time.”
