Cross Keys Homes (CKH) is celebrating good neighbours and community champions this winter. The housing association’s annual resident awards have returned to recognise the hidden heroes in our communities who make a difference.
CKH is asking people to submit nominations to highlight the people who should receive a big thank you for their efforts in 2025.
There are five categories with prizes up for residents available in each:
• Personal achiever of the year
• Young achiever of the year – aged under 25
• Community champion of the year
• Good neighbour
• Good neighbour: retirement housing and extra care communities
CKH Chief Executive, Claire Higgins, said: “We love the chance to celebrate the people who make a difference and every year we are incredibly touched by how many people make time to support others or overcome their own personal challenges.
Anyone can make a nomination, so if you know someone who lives in a CKH home who has achieved something fantastic this year or gone out of their way to help you or their local community, make sure you tell us their story. We know there are many people doing great things in our communities, but these awards are just to recognise CKH residents who live in our homes.”
The winners will be announced in December. Make a nomination at crosskeyshomes.co.uk/residentawards before 5pm on Friday 7 November.
