Project Cambridge, who promote growth and inclusion in the wider Cambridgeshire community, have just released their second podcast, focusing on how Sustainable Tech 4 Good (ST4G) has been making a huge impact on Digital Inclusion though the sustainable reuse of excess tech from businesses.
It features the story of how Sue Gowling founded ST4G, after finding a way to use her tech business to help get devices out to people in need during the COVID-19 pandemic. Recognising a growing need to address the disadvantage brought about by digital exclusion here in the UK, ST4G has now reached well over 7000 individuals with digital devices, working through a network of 129 charity partners, 49 of which are in Sue’s home county of Cambridgeshire.
Charity Partners Manager, Denise Coates joined in 2023, using her skill set and experience to manage getting devices out for digital inclusion through ST4G’s growing network of charity partners.
Excess tech from businesses is securely data-erased with full certification, refurbished and sustainably reused for social good, helping both the environment and their local community., and we provide full CSR and Sustainability reporting. We offer money back for tech that still holds value, and sell it through our Tech 4 Change online site, providing affordable tech for all, while also enabling further donations through our charity partners to address digital inclusion.
