As a Coach Jill combines a professional, down-to-earth approach with intellectual understanding, business acumen and powerful intuition:  challenging with a light touch. This enables her to get to the heart of a situation and set about supporting the client’s learning and motivating them into action. Clients appreciate confidentiality, honesty and her use of humour!


A Co-Active Coach, Jill is qualified and accredited through the longest established coaches’ training school in the world: the Coaches Training Institute and is also formally a Growth Accelerator Coach.  Jill holds the Chartered Institute of Market CAM Diploma in Marketing Communications whilst in the role of Head of Sales and Marketing with Cambridge Marketing College and the Radio Marketing Masters whilst with Q103, amongst other qualifications.


Apart from a brief sojourn to college in London and New York, Jill has spent most of her career in Cambridgeshire. With over 30 years of experience from within small business to corporate conglomerates, in manufacturing, radio, executive recruitment, retail and building trades, Jill has held roles in sales, marketing, management, consultancy and directorships, business owner/manager in a manufacturing and retail business.  Every role has required strong communication skills at every level, communicating with a variety of people – from CEOs of large organisations to cabinetmakers and cleaning staff.  Mostly they involved communicating with company directors, owner managers and human resources executives supporting them in analysing the overall requirements and objectives of the business and providing business solutions. 


Now Jill coaches personal, business, not for profit and corporate clients to maximize their potential.  This has involved supporting individuals’ personal development, working with them on a broad range of issues for example:  stress management; leadership and management skills, authority and assertiveness, role transition, business start-up, project inception through to completion, relationship changes – business and personal.


Speaking and training are important parts of the business and Jill is called upon to inspire and empower audiences to fulfil their potential.  Recent engagements have been with CRUSE, SSAFA, RGV Video Productions and several business networks.


Outside of business, Jill has a husband and three children and is an enthusiastic rower in the Ladies Eight with the Isle of Ely Rowing Club!


With experience across many sectors and clients in all sectors, Jill believes she can contribute a keen business perspective to the Cambridge & South Cambs Committee.
