Simone Robinson

The Oakridge Centre are specialists in human performance improvement which includes leadership development, management skills training, team effectiveness programmes and coaching. Simone is responsible for client development and client liaison for clients across the East and South of the UK. The Oakridge Centre clients include AstraZeneca, Bentley and Tata Chemicals.
Simone was previously the regional director of the Institute of Directors (IoD) in the East of England where she designed and implemented a membership and recruitment strategy, initiated a dynamic IoD Ambassador group of 45 directors and led staff and volunteer teams through national Transform Projects. Additionally, Simone launched the ‘Enterprising Women in the East’ and ‘Inclusive Business’ conferences to encourage diversity and inclusivity across East of England boards.
Previous roles have included managing director for Cool Cat PR Ltd (a marketing and communications agency), head of fundraising for Interact (mental health charity) and general manager for Essex Air Ambulance.
Simone has worked internationally in South Africa and Hong Kong, holds a BSc(Hons) in Behavioural Sciences and a Certificated in Company Direction from the IoD.
