Guardtech Group to deliver design masterclass at Cleanroom Technology webinar series

March 8, 2024

THE GUARDTECH GROUP are set to deliver a cleanroom design masterclass at the upcoming Cleanroom Technology magazine Design & Build webinar later this month.

Guardtech Group Commercial Director Mark Wheeler will present ‘Careful Considerations for Cleanroom Design’ at the webinar, which takes place at 3pm on Wednesday 27 March at 3pm and will be watched by fellow industry experts and controlled environment technology enthusiasts all across the world.

It’s the second instalment of a four-part series, following on from the opening edition which covered Environmental Monitoring.

Wheeler will cover a range of issues such as regulatory compliance, space optimisation, host building utilities & infrastructure and URS & brief compilation.

He said: “We’re really looking forward to taking part in this engaging series of webinars hosted by Cleanroom Technology magazine.

“As a Group, we now cover so many different applications and industries with our range of products and services – from turnkey design & build with Cleanroom Solutions to more traditional, and less complex, modular systems with Guardtech Cleanrooms.

“We have portable solutions covered with CleanCube Mobile Cleanrooms and then there’s our quick-assembly option – Isopod Rapid Cleanrooms.

“Developing, refining and then perfecting those different solutions has allowed us to amass a great deal of knowledge and expertise in the sphere of cleanroom design & build – from concept to creation and then delivery.

“We believe our progressive and forward-thinking approach to leading solutions has played a major part in how our Group has grown exponentially in the past few years and, I hope, gives us the ideal platform to share our design & build best practice advice with the wider world.”

Wheeler, who is set to speak alongside representatives from Nortek Air Solutions and other industry specialists, will also explore themes such as energy management, suspension strategies and key cleanroom safety considerations.

The Guardtech Group are currently working on a number of major projects at home and overseas, including phase two of a 1,650sqm ISO8 Aerospace cleanroom in East Cowes, an 850sqm ISO5 & 7 Cleanroom Laundry facility in Cheshire, a 1,500sqm CNC cleanroom in Suffolk and a 250sqm ISO6 build in Liverpool for Pharmaceutical containment and aseptic processing specialists.

And that’s alongside a string of Isopod and CleanCube projects – including a 210sqm Multi 7 CleanCube for another leading Pharma client.

“We’re busier than ever before as a business,” adds Wheeler. “And we’re really flexing our design muscles in newer and more exciting ways than any point in my time in this industry.

“We’ve got a wonderful blend of hungry, young talent and incredibly experienced industry pillars – and I can’t wait to see how that shines through in the webinar later this month. See you all soon!”
