This is a great opportunity to join Cambridgeshire’s leading business networking organisation, which uniquely supports its membership within this important area of the UK economy.
We are seeking an Events Co-ordinator for our extensive events programme, sector committees and local Chamber committees. We run over 150 events per year including informal networking, structured networking, seminars and workshops, business exhibitions and social events including quizzes, dinners and awards.
You will be based at our administrative centre in Oakington, as part of a small but busy team. The role is varied and you will need to be able to prioritise your workload, be creative and have an eye for detail.
The role is customer facing and you will speak with Chamber members on a daily basis so a confident and professional manner is required. Flexibility is key as you will required to attend events both in the early morning and evening. Your own transport is necessary as you will travel across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and Stamford.
Experience in designing, creating and running a variety of events, venue management, plus sales and attendance management would be preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and social media platforms is essential, you will also receive full training for our bespoke CRM system.
