People and Productivity Themed Zone at CambsB2B in November

October 3, 2023

With employee sickness leave at a 10-year high, how we engage with our people is an increasing priority. At this year’s CambsB2B, the People and Productivity Zone will focus on the pressing challenges employers are facing to find, retain and optimise their employees.

During the one-day event – taking place on Wednesday 22 November – the Zone, sponsored by Anne Corder Recruitment, will contain a series of talks covering leader and manager effectiveness, the cost of not retaining your staff, engaging with the next generation, and a session on DEI led by Katie Allen, DEI Specialist and Executive Coach.

Katie told us: “Creating inclusive workplace cultures means that we need to be confident about DEI rather than worrying about ‘putting our foot in it’. I’m excited to be sharing my top tips on how to be confident with DEI during my session at CambsB2B.”

Faye Holland, Chair of the Cambridge & South Cambs Committee and Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce Board Director, said: “We are thrilled to have put together such an exciting speaker programme, not just within the People and Productivity Zone, but in the main conference room where delegates will hear from experts on the budget, the four-day week, investing in people and the energy crisis.”

Zoe Brennan, Events & Training Manager at Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce, said: “We have been astounded by the support from companies across Cambridgeshire to bring this event back after a four-year-hiatus. Not only do we have an amazing speaker line-up, but we already have over 70 exhibitors including 20 major sponsors signed up, with an anticipated 800 delegates attending during the day.”

The full agenda for the day and how to register can be found on the CambsB2B website www.cambsb2b.co.uk, along with details of any remaining sponsorship and stand booking information.
