Mick George Group to Raffle the now iconic Match Ball from Cambridge United’s famous victory at Newcastle United

Following the heroic efforts of Cambridge United FC last weekend, in successfully pulling off one of the all-time memorable FA Cup giant killings, match-ball sponsors on the day, the Mick George Group are keen to extend the euphoria with a very special promotion for supporters.
Having beaten one of football’s richest Clubs (Newcastle United FC) in their own Stadium, fans will be eager to relive the occasion at every opportunity and now they have a fantastic opportunity to do so.
In a lottery style competition, the Mick George Group are giving away four separate, fantastic prizes which include:
- Signed (both teams) match-ball in a Perspex presentation display
- CUFC signed match-day programme
- Exclusive Commemorative FA Cup framed print
- 2 x CUFC Trust Gala tickets
Whether you experienced the euphoric victory on the day or followed from afar the Mick George Group are now giving you the chance to own a piece of FA Cup and Cambridge United history.
All interested parties are permitted to submit entry via ‘ticket’ purchase at www.mickgeorge.co.uk/product/charity-match/cufc-trust-lottery-ticket. Tickets are priced at just £2 per entry (or 3 for £5), with applicants able to buy multiple tickets for increased chance of winning.
The Mick George Group have announced that all proceeds from the competition will be donated to the Cambridge United Community Trust.
All entries must be received before Friday 28 January, ahead of a special draw which will be completed and distributed online week commencing 31 January, by Cambridge United FC Manager Mark Bonner, Goalkeeper Dimitar Mitov and Striker Joe Ironside, all of which played an integral part in the famous victory.
