This Land partnership with Hometrack supports growth plans

February 3, 2023

To better inform its strategic decisions across development and finance, This Land is delighted to announce its partnership with Hometrack, a suite of digital solutions designed to provide the housebuilder with access to reliable residential property data.

This Land’s partnership with Hometrack will enable the housebuilder to access Hometrack’s Housing Intelligence System (HIS) which gives instant online access to granular housing market information 24/7, 365 days a year. The data provided can be used to generate reports to support land bids, sales strategy and marketing target audience profiles.

In addition, This Land will have access to the latest new build housing supply through Hometrack’s Site Appraisal Reports. These reports provide granular site-by-site analysis of NHBC registered competitor sites, the profile and drivers of demand and detailed pricing data for the market around the provided postcode. This Land’s site acquisition decisions will also benefit from Land Appraisal Reports, which provide an independent analysis of the supportable pricing levels across the proposed scheme for the purposes of land appraisal or a sales launch.

Commenting Mark Sperrin, Head of Land at This Land, said: “These services provided by Hometrack will allow us to be more proactive in monitoring the markets in which we operate, speed up our reporting processes and allow us to make better informed commercial decisions. This in turn reduces risk, saves time and gives us a competitive advantage on land bids.”

Part of the Zoopla Property Group, Hometrack’s services are used across the housing sector with over 70 Housing Associations, 65 Local Authorities and leading housebuilders all using the system to inform strategic decisions across development, finance and research functions.

This Land builds high quality new homes. With a focus on sustainability, innovation and quality, the company is helping to drive the delivery of new communities across Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Essex and the surrounding counties in the east of England.
