ECBG CoronaVirus Support

March 26, 2020

We find ourselves in very difficult times and all local businesses both large and small are dealing with an unprecedented series of challenges.  Managing a crisis can be a lonely time for business leaders and it is important we support each other through the coming months.

The Ely Cathedral Business Group is looking to facilitate a series of online video forums to share experiences and  find ways to help with common problems being faced. The first of these sessions will be held at 6.30pm on Monday 30 March and will feature a few local businesses sharing how the crisis situation is affecting them, their initial response and outstanding issues. There will then be an open discussion to identify topics that would be useful to address in future sessions.

We will be using Zoom video to facilitate the session.  Zoom is an online video conference platform that can work from any device whether smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop.  You don’t need to sign up to Zoom to be able to join the session, simply click this link to join at 6.30pm next Monday.

It would be helpful try to connect a few minutes before the session in case of any technical issues.  There is no need to register in advance, just feel free to join us. If however you have a specific topic that you want to make sure we address, please email Michael Watson, joint chair of ECBG, at m.r.wats12@icloud.com who will make see that your suggestions are included.

The session will be very informal and seek to find practical ways to help us all navigate this complex and constantly moving situation. We very much hope you can join us.
