Meet the panel

Claire Berry
Claire is an Employment Lawyer at Price Bailey working in their Legal Services Team since 2017. Claire has experience working with a variety of businesses and individuals on a wide range of employment law and HR services.

Claire guides employers and employees through the complexities of HR and employment law to ensure that each matter is resolved in the best possible way for them. She aims to comprehensively understand the business of her clients in order to provide each client with proactive and personable advice which is commercially focused, cost-effective and tailored to their individual needs. Claire provides outsourced employment law and HR services to clients without internal HR or legal departments, as well as those with already established HR and legal departments.

Nicola Cockerill
Nicola has specialised exclusively in employment law since qualifying as a solicitor in July 2008. She advises clients on a range of issues including contracts, policies/procedures, disciplinary, grievances, dismissals and discrimination (with a particular interest in disability).

Nicola’s experience is varied. She has spent time working in a niche private practice firm locally, in-house for a number of years dealing with tribunal claims, and a short period of time in a busy human resource team for a large national white-goods manufacturer. She feels these experiences have given her a valuable understanding of the real issues faced on a daily basis by employers and employees enabling her to engage in an empathetic manner with clients.

Rebecca Ryan
Rebecca is an employment solicitor with a wealth of experience gained both in private practice and as an in-house employment lawyer for a large plc.

In addition, she spent a couple of years in HR at the frontline of delivering HR solutions. Her practice area covers the full spectrum of employment law and she advises both employer and employee clients.

She prides herself on providing practical, commercial advice whilst not detracting from the often sensitive nature of the issues involved.
