August 25, 2021

We’ve seen lots of collaboration amongst the business community since the start of the Coronavirus crisis. Shifties and Cambridge Social Media based in Cambridgeshire, are joining forces once again to help freelancers and entrepreneurs make the most of strategic focused digital marketing opportunities in the today’s world.

This year’s Cambridge Social Media Day is being held online and will focus on social media strategies rather than just the tactics. It will be a powerful two-day event full of inspiration and energy.

For those that want to learn how the ecosystem of marketing works and how you can utilise social media in more depth to grow your business, this event is a must attend.

The event will also feature panel discussions and workshops on the mental fitness side of social media, sharing good practice to maintain positive mental health whilst leveraging the platforms for the benefit of small business lead generation and community building.

Speakers include; Video & Social Media Marketing Agency Co-Founder, Dan Knowlton and Jamala Osman, Social Entrepreneur and TEDX Speaker.

Founder of Cambridge Social Media Lenka Koppová said: “Cambridge Social Media has always had a ‘help me to help you’ approach. Our main motto is to ‘Empower others and collaborate’.

“There are lots of businesses who need help with their overall understanding and learning about social media and that’s where we saw a perfect opportunity to partner up with Shifties again where their motto is ‘Connect, Learn, Grow’.

“We want to connect, we want to learn and we want to grow together. Their focus is more on the business journey of entrepreneurship and the blend of both communities makes for a powerful collaboration.”

When asked about the importance of mental fitness for those in the world of social media, Founder of Shifties, Alex Hughes, said: “In the world of micro business, social media is too good an opportunity not to leverage the access you can gain to your potential customers and build communities of brand advocates. However, this does not have to come at the expense of your mental health. We will be bringing to the table the discussion around having the right mindset to get what you need strategically from your marketing activities and open the conversation further to developing the right mindset to truly unlock the potential it can have for you and your business.”
