Get together for BBC Children in Need – Pudsey Bear

November 15, 2019

This year Beacon Wealth Group were joined by the BBC as they Celebrated 10 years of escorting BBC’s Pudsey Bear round the local area.

For the 10th year running Beacon Wealth Group teamed up with the BBC and took Pudsey Bear out, having a fun day creating a party atmosphere at the places they visited in St Neots and surrounding areas, on Thursday 7 November 2019.

For over half a century BBC Children in Need have been raising money for young people in the UK that need help. This is the message that was pushed throughout the day on Pudsey Bears visit.

During the day the team at Beacon arranged for Pudsey Bear to meet the Mayor of St Neots Gordon Thorpe, visit the old vicarage care home, and had a party with dancing to the Conga, Baby Shark, the Hokey Cokey and more with children at Kimbolton Primary Academy, Hail Weston Pre School, Great Paxton Church of England Pre School, Kester Pre School, Priory Park Infant School, Cracker Jacks Day Nursery and Pre School and Great Staughton Pre-School Piglets. Beacon Wealth Group also supplied all the Children with flags to wave, creating an extra party atmosphere.

One of Beacon Wealth Groups key goals is to help support the local community. Teaming up with the BBC allows them to raise awareness for an amazing charity whilst bringing the community together.

Usually behind the scenes, the BBC joined Beacon Wealth Group on their trip this year as they wanted to share the efforts, they, and the community have made over the past 10 years. Collectively the Beacon Wealth Group and the local community have raised over £32,500.
