Overview of the Role

Working under the guidance of the Business Support Specialist, the successful applicant will provide a wide range of support in all operational aspects of the company, including but not limited to order processing, logistics, facilities management and IT as well as providing administration and travel arrangement support to the Sales and Service teams. With plenty of development opportunities and the ability to make a real difference within the company, the position offers flexibility to make the role your own. It is a highly diverse and evolutionary role with very little work of repetitive nature and you will be encouraged to take on projects and responsibilities. You don’t need to have prior experience of scientific instruments or technologies, just be keen to learn!

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the order processing system
• Arranging worldwide shipping of orders between suppliers, Analytik and our customers

Other Responsibilities

• Posting Sales and Purchase Invoices in accounts software
• Assisting with facilities of the building and liaising with contractors
• Supporting Service team with Service reports, RAMS and Travel arrangements
• Supporting Sales team with quotes, installation documentation and travel arrangements
• Price list and general document control

While much of the role will be focussed on administration, the nature of joining a small team means that you must also be willing to occasionally assist colleagues with other tasks around the business. In addition to supporting the overall success of the business, this will provide valuable insight into company operations and help form strong working relationships with the wider team.
