We are looking for a Chef to join our small and friendly Hospitality team. Working alongside our Head chef, you will be preparing delicious food for our busy and popular Bistro, serving our patients and guests.

The role will involve managing daily kitchen activities, preparing meals, aiding with menu preparation, assisting with ordering/stock control, and ensuring food quality and freshness.

You will work on a 7 day rota, preparing all types of meals/snacks for patients, staff members, visitors and volunteers following set menus and ensuring that food standards are of a high quality.

As our Chef you will have:

Food Hygiene qualification
Experience of working in a customer-facing role
Experience of working in a multi task environment
Knowledge of relevant Food Safety legislation and compliance requirements
A caring, helpful and considerate approach towards patients, visitors and staff.

Please be aware that the salary quoted is based on full time hours and needs to be pro-rata’d for part time posts. We regret that we are unable to negotiate salary above the maximum stated within the advert
