An exciting opportunity is now available to join our small and friendly hospitality team as a Chef. Working alongside our Head Chef, the role will involve managing daily kitchen activities, including overseeing staff members when required, aiding with menu preparation, assisting with ordering/stock control, and ensuring food quality and freshness.

You will work on a 7 day rota, preparing all types of meals/snacks for patients, staff members, visitors and volunteers following set menus and ensuring that food standards are of a high quality.

As our Chef you will have to have:

Food Hygiene qualification
Experience of working in a customer-facing role
Experience of working in a multi task environment
Knowledge of relevant Food Safety legislation and compliance requirements
A caring, helpful and considerate approach towards patients, visitors and staff
Please note, this role is subject to a standard DBS check.

Please be aware that the salary quoted is based on full time hours and needs to be pro-rata’d for part time posts. We regret that we are unable to negotiate salary above the maximum stated within the advert
