Events Administrator

£18,000-£20,000

Closing: 10/02/2020

This is a great opportunity to join Cambridgeshire’s leading business networking organisation, which uniquely supports its membership within this important area of the UK economy.

We run over 150 events a year – from informal networking to structured networking events, seminars and workshops to business exhibitions, social events including quizzes, dinners and awards.

We are seeking an Events Administrator to assist with the administration of our extensive events programme.

You will work from our office in Oakington, as part of a small but busy team. The role is busy and varied, so you will need to be able to prioritise the work load, be creative and have an eye for detail. The role is customer facing; you will deal with Chamber members on an almost daily basis so a confident and professional manor when liaising with businesses is required.

Flexibility is key as you may be required to work outside of normal working hours as some events are early morning or evening.

Your own transport is a must as you will be travelling across the Cambridgeshire area.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and social media platforms is essential, and you will also work from a bespoke CRM system.

You will also provide administrative support to the local Chamber committees including taking minutes.

All applications to be received by 5.00pm on Monday 10 February. We reserve the right to close for submissions prior to this date and retain received applications on file for a period of 90 days following this deadline to consider other appointments.

If you feel you are the ideal candidate please provide a full CV and covering letter that tells us why you would be a great addition to our team. Email s.parr@cambscci.co.uk to apply today!
