We have a rare opportunity for a creative individual to become an integral member of our events team here at Arthur Rank Hospice Charity. Join as one of two part time Event Officers who work closely together to deliver our expanding portfolio of audience-led events and fundraising initiatives.

If you have exceptional organisational skills with the ability to produce high quality and engaging mass participation events, then we want to hear from you!

Key to the success of this role, is having the confidence to build strong relationships with people at all levels. This will help to promote longer term support from people who come to our events, those we work with and our wonderfully supportive suppliers.

We welcome you to bring fresh ideas to build on the marketing and promotion of our events. Always ensuring we link back to how our work as a charity impacts and supports families in our local community.

This is a varied role where no day is the same. It will be fun, it will be rewarding, it can be pressured and fast paced. You can be certain that you will finish each day feeling proud of where you work and why you became part of a dedicated and passionate team of individuals who want to help.

.Please refer to the attached job description and person specification for the full list of duties and responsibilities of this role.

This is a part time role, working 22.5 hours per week with an option for some time to be worked from home.

We are committed to inclusivity, respect, fairness, engagement and equality of opportunity for our patients and their families, our staff and trustees, our volunteers and our supporters.

We value the strength that comes with difference and the positive contribution that diversity brings to our community. Therefore, candidates with a disability that meet the minimum criteria will be guaranteed an interview. We are also working to increase diversity throughout the organisation and we particularly welcome applications from BAME people who are currently under-represented.

Arthur Rank Hospice Charity is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults who draw on care and support and expects all colleagues and volunteers to share this commitment.
