We have an exciting, part-time opportunity for an Administrator to join us in our small and supportive HR team! This is a permanent role, working 28-30 hours per week.

The role will be responsible for providing full and accurate HR and Recruitment administrative support to our charity.

Although supporting the whole HR function, the role focuses on recruitment and will be responsible for supporting the full recruitment lifecycle. Main duties will include:

Advertising roles
Arranging interviews
Undertaking pre-employment checks
Manage the onboarding and induction of new staff
Administration employee sickness
Administrating the probation process
Processing contractual changes and payroll amendments
This is an extremely varied role – no two days are the same!

Successful applicants will have previous experience working within an HR, recruitment (or similar) administrative role, with experience of maintaining accurate records. We also require someone who can prioritise workload and has a high attention to detail.

In return we can offer you the opportunity to work in a small, friendly HR team, where you will be fully supported. We offer hybrid working so part of your weekly hours can be worked from home once training and induction is complete.

Please note that the salary quoted is based on full time hours and needs to be pro-rata’d for part time posts. We regret that we are unable to negotiate salary above the maximum stated within the advert.

We encourage applications to be submitted as soon as possible, as we may close the advert earlier if sufficient applications are received.

We are committed to inclusivity, respect, fairness, engagement and equality of opportunity for our patients and their families, our staff and trustees, our volunteers and our supporters.

We value the strength that comes with difference and the positive contribution that diversity brings to our community. Therefore, candidates with a disability that meet the minimum criteria will be guaranteed an interview. We are also working to increase diversity throughout the organisation and we particularly welcome applications from BAME people who are currently under-represented.

Arthur Rank Hospice Charity is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults who draw on care and support and expects all colleagues and volunteers to share this commitment.
