Arthur Rank Hospice Charity (ARHC) supports people living in Cambridgeshire with an advanced serious illness or a life-limiting condition and who need end of life care. To help achieve our ambitious strategy, we are looking for our next Income Generation & Communications Director to join the Executive Team.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and with the support of talented Fundraising, Communications and Retail teams, you will utilise your wide range of skills, knowledge and experience to maximise income generation, and to lead on the Charity’s brand positioning and external communications.

This post plays a vital role in ensuring outstanding end of life care is available and accessible for people across Cambridgeshire. This is through provision of exceptional strategic leadership for the teams responsible for raising over £5m each year to enable our services to run, and by ensuring all our communications are engaging and accessible, so that everyone, no matter who they are, knows ARHC is there for them.

To be successful in this role you will have significant experience of engagement with a wide range of stakeholders, including the local community, with a proven track record of securing high-level income generation through sustainable and mixed varied streams. You will be an inspiring, adaptive and supportive leader who is adept at leading three core teams and the wider organisation as a key member of our Executive Team. Comfortable leading from the front, you will be a visible face and proactive ambassador for the Charity, representing us to both internal and external audiences.
