Working 22.5 hours per week, this is a fixed term role starting in February 2023 for up to one year, to provide maternity cover.

The Finance Department manages financial reporting on income, expenditure and budgeting for the Charity, including responsibility for the safe banking of all cash and cheques and investments. It is responsible for ensuring all Charity financial procedures are adhered to by all staff. The team also manages the payroll and pensions for staff.

The Management accountant is responsible for producing monthly management accounts and financial analysis for the organisation including subsidiaries. This role will work closely with the Finance Accounting Manager and Finance Director in the preparation of budgets and provide guidance to budget holders in managing the budget for their area of responsibility.

Successful candidates should be AAT qualified / part qualified (or equivalent) and have previous experience working in a finance role. It is also a requirement to have experience in using accounting packages and preparing management accounts.
