Location: Allia Future Business Centre Cambridge with some flexible working from home. Occasional travel to other locations i.e. Allia Future Business Centre Peterborough may be required.

Annual Salary: Up to £26,000 per annum depending on experience

Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week

Reports to: Head of Marketing & Communications

Allia Future Business Centres offer flexible workspace and a vibrant community for small businesses who are creating change. Allia Impact runs free business support programmes and innovative funded projects. Working together, they are dedicated to supporting businesses to thrive, grow and create jobs, so that they can make a positive impact on their community, as well as addressing social and environmental global challenges.

There are currently three business centres, 2 in Cambridge and 1 in Peterborough – which offer private offices, co-working, virtual offices and meeting rooms / event space. This role is within the small, friendly & busy marketing team, and is responsible for promoting all the flexible working services available at the centres, to agreed financial targets. It also includes coordination of our ‘Tenant Engagement’ campaign: liaising & creating networks with the tenants at our centres, to support and strengthen the community culture within them.

Role Responsibilities
-Promoting office space, co-working, virtual office & event / meeting room space at our Future Business Centres (FBCs), across all marketing channels
-Creation of integrated marketing campaigns to effectively market service offerings and discount initiatives – carrying out the creation of collateral, coordination of digital marketing & social media, print advertising etc – tracking KPIs & reporting on results
-Work closely with Director of FBCs and Centre Managers to set and agree targets for income generation within the centres
-Monitor spend and income against budget and make recommendations on adjusting plans accordingly
-Coordinate ‘Tenant Engagement’ campaign – welcoming new tenants, sharing news & success stories, writing case studies, undertaking surveys, planning tenant ‘spotlights’ & socials
-Create compelling blogs, interviews & thought-pieces to contribute to the marketing content plan & email newsletter, ensuring a steady stream of original content
-Continuously monitor and report on competitors / potential partners in our active locations, to inform marketing strategy and activities
-Ensure Front of House systems & CRM capture relevant data to record and utilise in targeted marketing campaigns
-Work with the Marketing & Communications Officer to produce monthly marketing activity report and email newsletter, using Google Analytics, MailChimp, Hubspot CRM etc
-Attend external and internal business events as required, promoting the centres and their services

Person Specification
Essential
-Degree qualified or equivalent
-At least 2+ years’ experience in a marketing role, with a broad experience of activities and tactics
-Working to financial targets & coordinating marketing activity focused on meeting them
-Good experience of digital marketing including websites, social media, pay per click advertising
-Good working knowledge of WordPress, Mailchimp, Adobe Creative Cloud apps particularly InDesign, Photoshop & Bridge, Canva
-Experience of working with CRM systems
-Adept at monitoring budgets and working with financial targets & reports
-Experience of creating engaging and well written communications
-High level of written and spoken English
-Have a professional, proactive and flexible approach to your work
-Level-headed under pressure, independent & full of ideas, but must work well in a busy, fun team
-Good IT skills especially MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT)

Desirable experience
-Experience in a business or marketing related subject
-Working for a charity, non profit or third sector organisation
-Google Ad campaigns, Google My Business
-Experience of creating and editing video
-Familiarity with Hubspot CRM
-Keen eye for detail, editing and proof-reading skills
-Experience of working across a range of products and offerings with distinct marketing messages
-Experience of MS Office 365 including SharePoint, One Drive, MS Teams
